Both ends of an S hook are bent to form the S shape. For the S-shaped wire forming, they are primarily used for hanging air hoses, electrical cords, and welding cables to keep them away from walkways and work floors. This eliminates trip hazards by properly storing coiled cables out of the way.
A wide variety of metals can be used to make the wire, including aluminum, copper, steel, brass, stainless steel grades 304, 316, and 434, as well as various types of alloys.
Our wire forming is designed to withstand the rigors of regular use as well as high temperatures and sterilizing cleaning environments.
Our internal weld testing assures the parts we manufacture for you are consistently strong with a smooth surface to enhance the cleaning and sterilization processes.
Formed wire can also be further processed by welding to sheet metal components or by crosswire welding. By incorporating wire components with sheet metal components provides the greatest value and flexibility in their designs.
In the wire bending process, the wire can be shaped into infinite shapes to suit any application. The diameter is 0.4 mm to 16 mm, or 0.016 into 0.625 in, which can be easily formed. Since the bending of the wire is completed before the wire is cut, there is no waste or waste in this process, and no secondary finishing is required.
